Gregg Mosson is the author of two books of poetry, Season of Flowers and Dust (Goose River Press, 2007) and Questions of Fire (Plain View Press, 2009). His work has appeared in The Cincinnati Review, The Baltimore Review, The Baltimore Sun, The Potomac Review, Poet's Ink, and The Futurist.

 

Gregg Mosson has read poetry at the Baltimore Book Festival, Towson State University, and D.C. Conversations & Connections Conference, among other cafes, art galleries, public rallies, and fun places. Some favorite quotes of poetry that inspire him include: "Yet if it does not seem a moment's thought / our stitching and unstiching has been naught" (W.B. Yeats); "Since feeling is first / who pays any attention / to the syntax of things / will never wholly kiss you; / wholly to be a fool / while spring is in the world" (e. e. cummings); plus, "Courage is not a rehersed thing." (Alan Barysh).

 

Gregg Mosson has an MA from the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars and BA in English from Portland State University. He lives in Maryland.
